Market Street Closure: April 5th & 6th 1-11 PM
Market Street will be closed from 1 PM to 11 PM on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6 for Illuminate Vermont (free to the public!).
Vehicular traffic will be detoured to Williston Road. The closure will be east of the entrance to the DMV and west of the 180 Market Street/Rick Marcotte Elementary School/155 Market Street driveways.
Pedestrians, wheelchairs and bicycles may continue to use the shared-use path.
No thru vehicle traffic will be permitted, only local Market Street traffic as follows:
- 180 Market Street, Rick Marcotte Central School, 155 Market Street and all residences including Allard Square and Garden Street apartment buildings, access Market Street from Hinesburg Road.
DMV and the Blue Mall businesses, access Market Street from Dorset Street.
